Biography

The clinical record.

Dr Ron Ehrlich holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Dentistry). He is also a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM) and holds a Certificate in Executive and Leadership Coaching (CIECL).

He practised clinical dentistry for over four decades, developing a methodology that integrates oral health, systemic inflammation, and the five pillars of human resilience — Emotional, Nutritional, Environmental, Postural, and Dental stress. This framework is not a new-age philosophy. It is the way the human body actually works.

He is the author of A Life Less Stressed: The Five Pillars of Health and Wellness (Scribe Publications, 2018), which has been published internationally and remains the definitive account of his clinical methodology. He is the host of the Unstress Podcast — one of Australia's longest-running independent health podcasts, with over 600 episodes and 1.5 million downloads since 2013.

He is the founder of the Unstress Health platform, a digital education and membership platform providing structured access to the clinical frameworks, curated content, and practical tools developed over four decades of independent practice.

He speaks internationally on stress physiology, oral-systemic medicine, and organisational resilience. He is a past president of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), co-founder of Nourishing Australia, and a board member of the Ancestral Nutrition Foundation. He serves on the editorial board of the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service.

His work operates from a single, non-negotiable premise: that effective clinical practice must remain independent of the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

"Ron Ehrlich is one of those experts I want to drill down on and extract as much information as possible, as his knowledge is encyclopaedic."

The clinical framework in full.

Forty years of clinical observation, distilled into a practical architecture for human health. A Life Less Stressed is not a self-help book. It is a clinician's manual for the non-clinician — a systematic account of how modern stressors compromise cellular function and what a rigorous, evidence-based response looks like.

The book documents the Five Pillars framework in full: Stress, Sleep, Breath, Nourish, and Thought. It is the foundational text of the Unstress Health platform and the basis of the Corporate Advisory methodology.
